Grk. Got it done. ^_^ Maybe next week's will actually be done by Monday. ::hopeful look:: Though I can't guarantee it, because I've got finals this week, and then I'm going home on Monday. I'll certainly try to get next week's up on Sunday, though. I'll be drawing all of Friday and scanning/editing all of Saturday to do it, but.... ::crosses fingers::
As for this page...I think I'm getting a bit better at this fake screentones thing. The homemade picture tube returns for the top two panels. I used a tiling webpage background for the trees, and the same tiles for Kass's and the Houshi's clothing as I did last week. The panel with Tanan has two tones (his robe-shirt-thingy and the background), the bottom Kass panel has three (two on the clothing and, again, the background), and the bottom-right panel has five, though they're hard to see in some cases (three on the cloak, one in two different lightnesses on the horse, and then the background yet again). ^_^ And no, I'm not telling you guys yet who the cloaked person is yet. I'm just referring to that person as Cloak for now.
And yes, you're reading things right in the top-right panel. That's the monk thinking, and yes, he called Kasseilia his sister. He's her younger half-brother. In case you care. I'm still debating whether or not I'm going to bring the monk back for an encore later in the manga. If you want to see him return to the story in the future, just e-mail me (until I get a poll for it going, that is).
Oh, and just to warn you, I know this page has little dialogue. The next has even less (i.e. none).
