Personality: Very much a family-type person. She's spunky, gentle, and stubborn.

Past: Born and raised a merchant's daughter, Rani knows the ins and outs of her father's craft. She is also skilled at the more womanly arts, such as needlework. Rani had a happy childhood and was going to marry a young merchant when her parents were killed by the Hounds of Salroth. Now she is on the run, hunted by those same Hounds and their halfblood handlers.

Family and Friends: parents (deceased). No siblings. Her uncle was killed while helping her, and she has no other known relatives. Companions include Darien, Aren, Lael, and Zerin.
