Past: He was found on the steps of the cathedral of Antai in Shadowheart at the age of two. The priests raised and trained him, and at the age of sixteen he became a priest. He became the keeper of the Heart of Ralin at the age of eighteen. As part of his training he learned basic healing and staff-work. Despite his youth, Aren is a high ranking priest.

Family and Friends: parents unknown, no known siblings. Raised by the priests of Antai in Shadowheart. Most of his friends are older than him; priests, scholars, and mages.
